My car has officially been 'written-off'...

Well, that's the end of my poor little car. It has seen me through some great journeys and has driven me all over the country in the four years that i've had the car. It had a good fifteen and a half years of life, and lately had problems starting up, but it was reliable once it was started, and it gave me very good fuel mileage. It was a lovely little car *wipes away a tear*

(For those that haven't read my last entry - the engine caught fire, and melted a lot of the electrics and the air filter, and all around the carbourettor (sp?), and i have been waiting for the insurance company to send an engineer to assess the damage).

Well, an engineer came on Friday, and said that to repair the damage would cost more than the car is worth, so they have written it off, so i'm now on the look-out for a nice cheap reliable car to drive me around :)
