My First Entry :)
May. 31st, 2002 11:45 pmWell, i finally got a LiveJournal *smiles*, and i thought i should post an entry before going to sleep *grins*
...Ummm, i don't know what to say now...i guess i'm just a bit tired.
i've had this whole week off work (paid holiday, not illness). Its been pretty good, i don't have to go back to work until Wednesday, which is nice.
Yesterday was good. i went to London and met my friend Mel, and it was really nice just spending time with her. Unfortunately we couldn't meet until 5.45pm because she had to work, and then got delayed by the train on the way to meet me. i didn't mind though. We spent the evening in a couple of pubs in Leicester Square, and her friend Claire joined us around 8pm. Unfortunately i couldn't drink more than 1 pint as i had to drive back home at midnight...*sighs*
But it was a nice evening anyway, and i'll be meeting Mel again in three weeks at an Ani Difranco concert in London, so that will be cool!
The only bad thing about last night was i forgot about recording Buffy and Angel!!! (It was the season finale for Buffy), and my friend Anna is gonna KILL me!
i think they are repeating the "Buffy" finale this weekend though, so i can at least record Buffy for Anna, but i don't think they are gonna repeat the episode of Angel...
It's my own fault, i should've remembered to tell someone to tape it for me..."D'Oh!!" *grins*
Oh, and i've got another Hard Drive for my computer, so i can fit that tomorrow, and will have to re-install everything...which is gonna take a LONG time...so i may leave that for a bit...i don't know. It's something that needs to be done...well actually i need to re-format the current hard drive anyway, as it's not working properly, and half the games/programs aren't working properly. So i NEED to do a complete re-format and re-install of everything, but i can't back up everything in "My Documents" to a CD because there's so much stuff! So that's why i bought another hard drive, so i can back up everything onto that, but what i'll probably do is just use the new one as the main one, and my current one as a back-up...
Well, this "first entry" is a bit longer than i thought it would be, and i'm getting sleepy now *yawns*, so i'm gonna go and relax and read a book for a bit.
